Arne Jacobsen Butterfly Chair
Finally after 5 years my designer kitchen chairs are on their way to California! At the time of emigration I couldn’t take them simply because I reached my quota of extra cargo. I had so many boxes I had to decide what to leave at home at my parents and what to take to California. The chairs stayed…
But after all these years my wonderful parents shipped the chairs this week and should arrive within 10 days. Still curious about customs but that’s something I can deal with when it’s needed. For now I’m thrilled especially because my current chairs are starting to fall apart.
The chairs are designed by Danish designer Arne Jacobson early ’50’s. They are known as the Series 7 Chairs or ‘Butterfly’ chair. I have 5 of these chairs, 4 in black and 1 in birch. I will post some pictures once they arrive!
