    San Francisco weekend

Last weekend A. and me went to the City to celebrate my birthday. We stayed at hotel Fusion in downtown San Francisco. The thing I love about the City s that you will discover new things every time you visit. As A. always says: Never a Dull Moment, and it’s true. Even though the weather wasn’t cooperating well we still had a great time. Yesterday I decided to put my photo page up again. I only uploaded 13 pictures since I only want to show my quality pictures (cough, cough). Let me know what you think!

Another reason for putting up the gallery page is that I want to pick up the camera more often. With the recent discovery of Vimeo it got me inspired to take more pictures. Eventually I want to start making videos but that’s something for the future.

    Vimeo, Video Sharing For You

We all know YouTube. Most of us unfortunaltly don’t know Vimeo. Same idea, you create an account upload your videos and start sharing with the rest of planet Earth. The difference to me is the quality. OMG, there are truly masterpieces to be found on Vimeo. For me YouTube is the MySpace of video sharing (and we all have a strong opinion about MySpace). Vimeo simply has the better videos. Go ahead and take a look.

The first video I saw is the one below. Tell me what you think…

A new type of tag cloud: WP Cumulus

For those not familiar with a tag cloud: A tag cloud (or weighted list in visual design) is a visual depiction of user-generated tags used typically to describe the content of web sites. Tags are usually single words and are typically listed alphabetically, and the importance of a tag is shown with font size or color. Thus both finding a tag by alphabet and by popularity is possible. The tags are usually hyperlinks that lead to a collection of items that are associated with a tag.

Roy Tanck developed a WordPress plugin which displays the tag cloud in a flash movie. If you scroll down (for people with low resolution monitors) you can see the tag cloud in action. Isn’t this cool! I love it. The plugin is still a little bit rough but with some tweaking I’m sure you can get it to work.
